Vine City Homes:  Revitalization and Redevelopment Plans

The revitalization of Vine City is coming sooner than expected.  With the construction of the new Dome in Atlanta already underway, the Arthur Blank Foundation along with Invest Atlanta has approximately $30 million on reserve to redevelop this part of downtown Atlanta over a period of 3 years.   The overall goal for Vine City development plans is to promote healthy communities in the Vine City neighborhood.  What could this potentially mean for buyers looking at affordable Intown Atlanta neighborhoods? Well the first thing is knowing that grant monies would be available as an incentive to move into the selected area as well as the ability to purchase investment properties within the neighborhood at lower than average market rates.  Vine City is within walking distance to the GA Dome and there are plans for much retail to be brought to the area to cater to tourism and events.  This will be great for the local residents because Vine City will be transitioning to a live-work-play neighborhood in just a few short years.  I strongly suggest looking into Vine City if you like Intown living but are not yet ready to spend the kind of money needed for some of the already established Beltline neighborhoods. As always, Pauline Bowman, Beltline Specialist and Intown Buyers Agent with eXp Realty is available to assist you with questions on how to purchase on the Beltline.  Contact me at 678-682-1221 or Pauline.bowman@exprealty.com
