Good for you if you deliberately sat out the summer madness that is inherent in the current housing market. If you’re serious about buying a home, you’re hopefully about to save a huge gob of
New Construction On Cleveland Ave The City Of ATLANTA Is Changing
Cleveland Ave has long been a street un-associated with new homes and nice subdivisions. But 2015 is changing that perception for Atlantians. As I was searching properties for a client, I stumbled across a private enclave of homes in the 30315 zip code. New construction is underway for 4 lots with 8 active listings and an expected ready date of late Summer. So I decided to drive over to see what Preston Hills and the surrounding areas had to offer. When I got off I-75 South at exit 241 and made the left onto Cleveland Ave, I didn't immediately see anything that would direct me to new homes being built. So I continued to follow my GPS to Old Hapeville Road and just about a quarter of a mile down was the welcome sign to the Preston Hills Subdivision. Driving in, I took a quick peek because it is a very intimate group of homes with much more work and building to be done. Mostly craftsman styled 4 bedrooms with private garages lined the streets with colorful siding and decent sized porches. Towards the back and middle was an open field of grass waiting on potential buyers to pick their lots. To know where th location is comes quite a surprise because it is the last place you would think to find new construction. Builders and sellers alike are doing all the can to bring buyers back into the city and with good reason. As the central intown neighborhoods begin to have more expensive listing tags and with the new Porsche facility and driving track coming just a few miles away, Preston Hills may be the next new thing to jump on before prices start rising. Revitalization is going to happen as far down I85 as East Point and Hartsfield Jackson. Now is a good time, I think to begin researching the various neighborhoods on and near the Beltline to decide which will best suite you and your family needs. I know these areas well and would love to help you buy or sell in the near future.
