I love to run!  When I was in high school, my dad started training for a marathon.  Since he lived in Dallas, TX and I lived in Knoxville, TN, I didn't see him everyday.  I remember visiting him in Dallas.  We met at the airport.  The first thing that I noticed was the 55 pounds he lost.   He actually weighed less than I did.   Once I started college, I followed in his running footsteps.

My journey began in 2003, when I could barely run over a mile. Now I look back at 2003 and I am amazed by my progress.  I have completed one ultramarathon, four marathons, and many shorter distance races.  Now my purpose for running has changed.  I run to see what fun activities are going on in town, look at the beautiful houses, and notice the changes that are going on inside each community.

I want to share what I see, the conversations I hear, the people I meet.  I hope you will be join me on my journey.
